Baby Shower Decorations

I finally have time to sit down and write a proper post about my sister’s baby shower!

First of all, I have to say that I had such a great time planning the shower with Amy, Kari, and Emily. All three of them are so crafty and talented that between the four of us, we went to town on the d-i-y projects. I’m pretty sure we were all a little burnt out after the party was over.

When we were initially planning the shower we thought that making it a surprise for the mommy-to-be would be a lot of ~~hard work~~ fun. If we could get her husband in on the action then the surprise shower would be a success. Don’t get me wrong the four of us knew it would be difficult to keep it a secret, but the group of family and friends that were invited really helped us pull it off.

Since Julie didn’t know the exact date of the shower, we had to think of a really good reason to get her out of the house while we set up. Luckily, my brother-in-law is awesome and was able to get her out of the house for a few hours with her none the wiser.

Amy, Emily, Kari, and I were able to sneak in and put everything together right before Julie showed up. It was a little intense.
