Burlap and Chevron Valentines Day Wreath
This simple Valentines Day Wreath is really easy to make and looks great on your front door!
I usually don’t decorate at all for Valentines Day, but I needed to take down my Christmas wreath and replace it with something so I thought a nice pink and girly wreath would look perfect. I’m sure my husband is all too happy to come home to a pink door! ha!
Originally, I wanted the wrap the base of my styrofoam wreath in twine, and started doing so one night while watching tv. But after five hours I had covered just over a fourth of the base! I was quickly over that and needed another option.
I decided to use burlap to wrap around the base instead, and then use a pink ribbon to accent it. It was more rustic than I had originally intended, but I was really starting to like how the wreath looked.
I accented the wreath with chevron fabric, silk flowers, and a small fabric banner with stenciled letters. I’m probably going to save this wreath again for next year since we really don’t get a lot of use out of Valentine’s Day decorations like we do other holidays.
My favorite part about this wreath is that while it is intended for Valentine’s Day, it doesn’t look to lovey-dovey. My least favorite part is that the fabric bow isn’t standing up like I envisioned (any suggestions?).
I’m not a huge fan of February the 14th (never have been!) so I’m not one to go all out for the day. This wreath is simple and cute, that is why I love it.
Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day?
I am marching home this evening to make this. How pretty. Thanks for the clear instructions.
Thank you. 🙂 I’d love to see how yours turns out if you decide to make a wreath of your own!
Your wreath is adorable! I love burlap AND chevron, so it kind of is amazing. 🙂

Super cute girl. Love it and seems like I could maybe pull it off. San
Thank you! This is definitely an easy wreath to do, I’d love to know if you give it a try!
I made a burlap wreath for the holidays, but it was much different from this one. Now I think I need both!
Thank you Wendy! I love burlap wreaths. They are so cute and look great no matter what you put on them.
