A Tour Through Blogland

Today I have a different (but exciting) post for y’all!  Last week, Madison from Wetherills Say I Do gave us a tour of her gorgeous house during her Tour Through Blogland post. Jessica from Savory Experiments also wrote her take on the Blogland Tour post where she challenged me to write this post a while ago, I’m just a little late to the game!  The idea behind these posts is to catch a behind the scenes glimpse inside of the lives of your favorite bloggers.

Chris has lived in this apartment since before I knew him.  The location is fantastic, with loads of shops right down the road and the airport right across the street.  So for us, this truly is a really great place to be (location wise).  While I do tend to complain that we have too much stuff and not enough space, I do love this apartment.  And I cannot wait to show it off!

Our living room is a multi-purpose room in our home.  We gather with friends and family there, I craft/blog/edit pictures there, and Chris and I love to relax and watch Doctor Who there.  It’s a lovely space that needs a lot of love and redecorating, which is why I am only showing you the one part of the space.  One of the reasons I love this area of our home is this awesome built-in desk.  It’s the perfect space for my blogging needs, even if I do wish the desk was a tad bit bigger!

The other half of the heart of our home is the dinning room.  I absolutely love cooking for family and friends and then serving them a delicious dinner on my parent’s old dinning set. It holds many memories of family dinner at my childhood home and I am so glad I get to add to the memories.

I absolutely love our master bedroom!  It is the perfect place to relax at the end of a trying day.

We also have a guest room/office for Chris, but that room is a catch all at the moment so I’ll have to share it when it’s organized and pretty.  That’ll be a post for another day.

Your next stop on the blogland tour will take you to one of my favorite bloggers:

Emily from Love Pasta and a Tool Belt!

Emily from Love, Pasta, and a Tool Belt

Emily has some amazing DIY projects that have been featured on her blog and I cannot wait to see more of her home.  I’ve loved getting a peek so far and I know she has at least one fun room project lined up that I cannot wait to see!

I hope y’all check in next Monday to see some of Emily’s recent home projects (spoiler alert: they’re awesome!).  I’ve loved seeing other bloggers beautiful spaces, and am so glad to join in on the fun!  Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at a few of my favorite spaces.

  1. I love, love, love this!! I was so excited to see your home because of all the amazing DIY projects you have done. There are even more than I have seen before and I can’t wait to go back and look at some of these projects. I think my favorite space is your desk area!

    1. Thank you!!! 😀 The desk space is definitely one of my favorite places in the apartment too! haha It’s the only space that is truly mine, which is great. Thanks for tagging me for the tour, it was fun to go through the house and find old projects that I had done.

    1. Thank you so much, Alana! I’m sure your place looks lovely. It takes a lot of patience to make things for the home, but I’m sure yours would look amazing if you decided to make something as well! 🙂
