My husband has a ridiculous amount of socks.  It’s probably because he goes through them so quickly that I am always buying more just in case his favorites end up getting holes in them.  Unfortunately, the tiny Ikea nightstand he had before I met him no longer holds all of his socks so I had to find another way to store them.  Chris’ biggest concern was that it was hard to tell the blue dress socks from the black ones in the early mornings when he’s getting ready so he wanted an easy storage solution that would help him with that.

Of course I went to my favorite store, HomeGoods, to see if they had any simple solutions for me.  And I found these three great bins with chalkboard labels on the front!  They were exactly what I needed so I snatched them up before someone else saw them and got any ideas.

I love simple solutions.  I really really do.  And this one was so simple it’s almost a crime I didn’t do it years ago!  The bins are a little long for the shelves and that wasn’t something I considered when I bought them, but I don’t think it’ll be a problem.
