Media Kits.  The one thing I never knew I needed, but if you’re looking to work with brands it’s essential to have.  Who knew?  Not me!

Once I decided to attend Bloggy Boot Camp this year (which is tomorrow!) I knew I needed to look into either making my own media kit or have someone design it for me.  I kept putting it off (master procrastinator over here) and once September snuck up on me I knew I didn’t have time to make one myself.

Luckily, my friend Madison decided to offer media kits as part of her design service right when I decided I needed someone to make mine for me.  Score!  So, I ended up contacting her right away to see if she could work on my kit for me, and she said yes!

PS- do you have any idea how hard it is to take a creative picture of a media kit? Ugh…this is not what I had envisioned, but it was the best picture I could get!

The turnaround time was so quick, and Madison was great about finding out exactly what I was looking for and what I wanted to include on my kit.  The questionnaire form that you have to fill out when you order your kit has every possible option you could imagine so that no details about your blog are left out.  Want to include demographics?  No problem.  Brands you’ve worked with?  Sure!  Madison was great about including everything I wanted while still staying true to the design of the blog.

I am so excited to hand out these kits at the conference this weekend!  I now feel completely prepared and ready to talk myself up to different brands.  Thanks, Madison!

If you’re in the market for any design work (media kits and other graphic design needs) you should definitely contact Madison.  Her work speaks for itself!
